Is there a better place than my local recycling center?

Thanks!

Unless you have a truckload (40K+ lbs) and can transport them to a battery breaker (3 in California), your local recycling center is the best.

Last sell price was about $0.23 lb (for a truckload).

Scrappers will prolly pay about $0.15 lb for them (they want to make some money for the hassle of handling them and it is a hassle. Can you spell Gov't Agencies?)

The place you bought your new battery is required to take the old one back.
