I seem to remember a thread where Mr. Brad Roberts posted pics of an early, early /6 that had the seam between the front fender and the cowl that was all one piece (or welded together).

Can't seem to find the thread or pics. However, has anyone done this on a reconstruction/re-do of their 914?

Seems like it would be a good idea if building a non-concourse car....
