I'm hoping that a fellow racer out there can help me. When I bought my 914 autocross car last year it came without the factory rollbar / targa bar. The previous owner had cut it off to save weight and make it easiar to install the roll cage. I really want to try to return the car back to a more traditional appearance. My goal is to make a faux targa bar out of aluminum sheet.

In order to do this I need to get some dimensions of the old targa bar. The base measures 17.5" long. Mine is cut at 15". This is approx. at the height of the horizontal pieces on either side of the engine cover.

I need the following dimensions:

length at base - 17.5"
length at top -
height to the top -
Width across the top -

Unfortunately I'm not aware of another car in the local area that I can go measure. I really appreciate any help I can get with this. Thanks!!
