I have an EB case that came out of a 411 wagon, (I think) anyway, I have to drill a hole for the dipstick in the top of the case for the 914.

What kind of tube should I use?

Thats what I have used Just make it longer then what you need so that once it is in there you can cut it the correct length.

We sell a dtube and matching dipstick just for this conversion. They are cheap parts and easy to install.

I have used brake line, but it is is not very strong and also doesn't like vibration and can crack at the base where the tube meets the case.
