Dear P2O past attendees

Today we got the 100th registered car for P2O 2008. Last year at this time we had only 65 cars registered….thus we are experiencing a 35% increase. Additionally, 35 of these Porsche owners are coming to Oxford for the first time. Currently we have cars registered from 15 states and Canada.

All of this means that we are well on schedule to attract more than 300 Porsches to the quaint brick streets of uptown Oxford on Saturday, July 26th.

Providing major sponsorships again this year are both Griot’s Garage of Tacoma Washington and Beechmont Porsche of Cincinnati. Joining them as this year’s third major sponsor is Autobahn Extremist of Rocky River, Ohio. Obviously the article in Pano written by PCA National President Prescott Kelly (who will be returning again this year along with his wife Pam) has helped a lot in increasing our registrations. Additionally, we have increased our marketing efforts by mailing a P2O “care packages” to every PCA club president east of the Mississippi. To those west of the Mississippi, we emailed all marketing materials. There has already been one paid advertisement in Pano and there will be additional ads in the next three issues. We are also running an ad in Excellence.

As a past P2O attendee, we hope that you will consider again joining us on the quaint brick streets of Oxford on Saturday July 26. This year promises to be even bigger and better.

Again this year we will be having a ‘fun rally’ on Sunday morning. This rally is professionally managed by Scenic Road Rallies LLC. Space is limited, so please visit their site (via the P2O site) for more information and to register.
