Is it better to mount the (solid) trans mounts to the car and then try to install the power train or is it best to mount them to the trans and leave them a bit loose and line it up that way?
I have everything installed right now as I did the initial cam break in out of the car. Thanks. -Aaron |

i don't think it makes any difference. you either tighten 2 bolts if you choose to mount the trans mounts to the body or 4 bolts if you mount the trans mounts to the trans. i never had any problem aligning the 4 bolts and i used the 911 sport mounts. when i did it, i mounted the trans mounts to the trans.

So just leave the large through bolts a bit loose so I can move them around? It seems like with the slotted ears on the trans it's designed to have the mounts bolted to the car first...
Thanks. -Aaron |
