I've been tinkering with the idea of putting side mirrors on the teener...but i dont know which ones i would put on. I'm in favor of putting a driver and passenger mirror...I also am not a fan of chrome.

any ideas

I like the 911 flag mirrors, but now that I own two real Sixs they have to stay stock, though they will have passenger sides as well. If anybody wants a set of flag mirror I have a set in my stash.

I don't know what happened when I went to put this pic up in my last post. Anyway my 73 2.0 with Flag mirrors. This beautiful car burned and melted into the ground in 1996.

Doug Armstrong (tracks914) put these Oldsmobile Mirrors on. His thread was from January. They look very cool.

Stay in the family and somewhat period correct for the car. Flags. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You have to get 911 bases for the mirrors and modify the curve to get them right. Mine are still only 99% correct. I need to remove them again and touch up the angle one more time.

how about these mirrors??

(IMG:http://www.dreamgate.ne.jp/nsr/my%20bikes/250_37.jpg)

They are motorcycle mirrors and the outer body is made from real carbon fiber, the lens is german made and gives a really clear and wide view of whats going on behind compared to stock mirrors, the stay is made of light weight alloy and they are adjustable and you can select different length stays that might work on a 914. They are sold here in Japan and made here as well except for the lenses. Could be kind of cool, who knows...

Good idea if you could get them in a horizontal mounting, not vertical. Sort of like stock mirrors.

That car looks sweet but really needs some spacers on there to make it look best.

I put these on as a temporary measure because I couldn't decide what mirrors I really wanted.

Now I really like them, they work fine, and the glue shows no sign of giving up.

You don't need a horizontal fixing if you glue them to your glass (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
