Was it made in China?
They seem to have a bit of trouble spelling things in the assembly manuals that I've used.

Dudes, that is not a fake. That is the rear reflector for the badass (Po- Her- Ski) POHERSC 149-4. Killer car but infamous for rust and oil leaks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

When Tim at Z products had the rear update business before we purchased it from him, one could order any thing at all screen printed on the rear reflector. I suspect that is what happened here. Someone ordered it as a joke.

NO

the ones with the black outline around it are all aftermarket made just for the 914.

the 911 units are cut on each side to fit a 914 and don't have a black outline at all.

also, the 911 units are real reflectors (hit 'em at night with a flashlight and you'll see what i mean) while the aftermarket ones don't reflect much at all at night ...
