That one must be built on a bug pan, as opposed to a complete tube chassis ala Beck. It should be mid engine. The proportions are F'd. Too short out front, too long out back.

it looks to be a nicely done car.
why wouldn't they put some caps on the wheels to "finish it off". cheap tires?

The vin is from a 1969 standard beetle,...think

I'm not sure it's barf material, but the rear engine throws the proportions way off, and it looks a little deformed.

it's no beck, for sure.


BTW, i would still drive it.

Yeah...it has an extra section 10-12 inches behind the seats because it's a tail dragger. It's just off, I expected to see a jump seat or a Jimmy Hoffa compartment or something.

"Authentic Porsche Gauge instrument panel"? Maybe not. The VIN is from a Super Beetle. If it has a torsion beam front axle, the VIN is fake, leading to other potential problems down the road.
