My cousin and I made a bit of a holiday out of the LeMans Classic this year and drove down to St. Rafael in the South. Thought you might like some pictures.
. Total 2347 miles, 426L 95RON, 3.5L oil. Really enjoyable trip and I was pleased that the car not only made it all the way but didn't miss a beat apart from the Permatune CDI playing up (quick swap back to std ign and all was fine).

I visited the Classic Lemans in 2006 with my Wife, for our Honeymoon and loved the experience!!

Where did you camp?? It looks like the same area that we stayed with the UK based Porche Speedster andn 550 Club.. I believe the RSK in the pictures was the same one that was there when we were!

Looks like a ton of fun, that was an unreal experience and I even got some seat time around the circuit in a 911S belonging to one of my customers....

The blue car with the '300 UNK' plate is a one off special designed by the same guy responible for the original xerox photocopier -or so the data sheet in the window read. Powered by a coventry climax. The RSK was just parked up at the Mulsanne corner. Looked quite nice. We camped with the Triumph club at Tetre Rouge

James,
Thanks for sharing all those wonderful photos.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) ic. Looking at many of the cars that you've focused your camera on is like reading back issues of Road & Track or Car from the '60s. Some of your shots are very creative as well. And based on the "road images", the (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) must have been quite rewarding. Good show, thanks again for posting your LeMans trip.

Paul
