I'am looking for a nice 914 around LA.
We are coming to visit SEMA show and will also be spending some time in LA. I really dont want to rent some lame compact, so we really need to find 914 which we can use while in LA.
Good solid cars with as little rust as possible (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) dont mind the looks, just need to be solid.
Price range is 1000-5000$ Main thing is that we can use it while we are in USA and that it is good enough condition to make it worth shipping to Finland. Ideal would be original 2.0 with no cheap make overs, original (even worn) paint, minimum rust, good engine and trans.

Attached ImageAttached ImageAttached ImageHere are some pictures of my 1976 914. It is in great shape with no rust! California Car. I have the reflector coming for the rear. I need to have the emmissions test for california this week hopefully, when are you coming out here?
This car is a 2.0 fuel injected car, interior is clean and just a couple of dash cracks but has cover for it also, breaks and rotors ar in great shape. The motor was rebuilt and absolutely no smoke from car or leaks

If you do not want to worry about the smog certificate you can go to the DMV and get a red sticker to put in the window. This red sticker is a temporary registration and is usually good for a month or two, which would allow you to drive it around no problem.

I am in Woodland Hills which is about 20 miles from Hollywood. Car is getting the emission controls fixed for smog test this week and will be registered in less than a week if all goes well
