So I finally satisfied my curiosity. I wondered how heavy it was since I got it. Guess the buick 215 really isn't that heavy huh? My wife works at a hay shipping plant. So I just ran by today & used the scales. Pretty accurate I think as with me in the car it was 2410. Once I got out dropped to 2200 even.
Any othe v8 guys have a weight on their car? I'd like to see where mine compared to a few others |

Mine's a bit over 2500lbs...but it has a full cage, a 930 trans, an LS6 V-8, etc. Your car might be the lightest non tube frame 914 V-8 in existance! Wow that's pretty light. I bet it still handles just fine.

Once I figure out what I am doing on my cooling system? Car will be sweet (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) I want to run a remote elctric water pump. The way my engine sticks into the cab it will help me get my firewall back. I am also going to add renegade's newest radiator setup & the tranny mounts that bump it back 1 1/4" & down 3/4". Once I do both I will get my firewall back completely (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I also have some adjustable koni's with adjustable perches. I'd like my rear end to be sit about an inch higher. |
