I have checked that I have water in the bottle and air in the spare. There are no kinks in the tube from the tire to the bottle. Is there supposed to be pressure in the bottle? I do not know what else to check.

Make sure you have plenty of air in the tire. There is supposed to be a check valve in the system that won't allow the spare to go below a certain level. If the valve is stuck, the system won't work. Just do what most of us do & put in a pump. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
