Take a look at what I found on German Ebay. Most of the system looks like it is there.

I would like to get it but not sure 250euro is a good price.

If you want to be stock then the price is fine, probably. If you want a system to do the same thing, you could assemble one for less.

But that's not the point, now is it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That item is über rare and it's almost complete. It's only missing part of the water hose and the relay for the pump.
Everything else is there ...

This should go to Bowlsby's collection!

That is a huge jump in price over the last offering; what happened I wonder.

Missing the bumper and bumper top, both major items.

I have a brand new bumper top for those squirters. The rubber is cut out for the squirters to recess in to the metal support. (The p.o. lost the squirters!!!). I assume the only difference in the bumpers are some holes for the hoses, is that correct?

I thought the same when I found it today ...

see that the description and the photos are exactly the same than the last time

AND - it's the same seller
I bet the last winner was a friend who should raise up the price - because the seller expected more
so, now he tries with such a moon-price

I'm sure that this one wont sell for this price ...

Bumper has a special tab welded in place for the squirter to mount to. Squirters are NLA for quite some time.

Couple of threads on the headlight washer system:

Mark, do you have a photo of the 74 and earlier bumper with the squirter holes? I was just going to modify my new painted bumper. I thought there was just some holes, but if I need to add a bracket, then that is extra effort.

Also, the tank needs to have a tie down strap. Probably a rubber strap with fittings on the ends. I don't know if there are tabs welded to the body to attach to, or if I just need to drill holes for screws. I'd assume that there would be welded tabs since drilling holes just asks for problems.

I'd really like to see photos from a factory fitted system.

Dave,
Look at page 12 of the 75 dealer service and info manual. Bottom picture has + type bracket. I will checked in the factory manual(Book 8 Body) about the earlier version but it shows nothing about either version. I have seen the picture some where before but I cannot remember. I went back and looked at the 1st thread and realized that is where I had seen the bumper top.
