L80E.....Light Ivory. My '75 is that color. i think its just ivory not light ivory "Light Ivory" is correct. Your paint code should read "L80E". Factory color and not that rare at all ... We have a 914 Color chart in the "Info" section: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act=colors (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) Andy PS: And while you're at it, please update your VIN info with past and current cars. What are the numbers on the Karmann badge on the drivers door hinge post?
Lxxx is the paint code and xxy9zzzs the body #. Give me those and I'll help figure it out. Very good chance the car has been repainted, and if so it may not be the original color. |

I dont have the car anymore and i had the info written down it has been repainted but it wasn't repainted on the inside trunks or anywhere else. and this color is darker than light ivory the color code matches a ivory for sure but is that possible? Geogre said its worth more because its a really rare color for a 914 to bad she's gone |
