Yesterday I made my own adapter plate using Johannes' template: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...amp;hl=speakers

And then installed a pair of nice Pioneer 4x6's. The sound is quite good, definitely better than the crap speakers that were in the door panels.
