I think your right on about the Recaro looks someone modified it for 5 point harness....it has the H ridge on the back and mount lugs that comeout the side just like a recaro....late 60-early 70's

Definately a Recaro competition seat from the 60's and 70's like used in the 911R. Did you compare them to the Recaro's that you purchased from me?
