...I've rebuilt my axle assemblies; reconditioned my steering rack, seat rails and headlight assemblies.
The before and after shots of the steering racks were created using the 914 steering rack and the 911 steering rack. Their conditions were similar, so I used them to demonstrate the differences.
I'll be using the 911 steering rack because it has a grease fitting. When my 930 tie rod assemblies come in, I'll be installing those. I'm in the middle of reconditioning the front suspension assembly. I'll take pictures of that later.
I have used the time off to clean up a lot of sub-assemblies and have some new components being machined.
I will be returning to the chassis weldments as soon as I replace my shield gas tank and regulator.
