I agree. Great thread including the unique chassis cradle. Fantastic welding work on just about every part of 914 that has rust.

I think it is a Classic, but I think you ought to let him finish it first.

I agree that the man does amazing work. But that's not really what the classic thread forum is all about. They are meant to be thread based format of "how to" for specific items. Not really a complete build up.
But whatever. If it's to go there, we should wait until it's finished. |

I'm thinking maybe there should be a restoration of the year award or something. Maybe with vendor(s) chipping in some prize money or merchandise. Maybe?

Eh, you guys are all too nice. I could never have done any of this without 914 World. I will definitely get my first car on the road, don't know about finished. I guess it is finished when I pass it on to another 914 nut. Besides my wife said she will leave me if I don't finish the first car (known as the Rockin 914 from now on) before tearing into the IMSA car too much. No problem... let it play out here first. Four Blades, Its cars like yours and "the british rustoration" that make me thank 914 heaven that my car had ALMOST no rust on it except for alittle in the hell hole. Keep it going man.... finish it!!!! Kyle Hmm, most of you if you were to see my 914 in the flesh or iron oxide which is more appropriate would only consider it for parts, I am bringing it back to life so it can live on on the Left side of the road (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) |
