I've done some searching through the archives and there doesn't seem to be any good posts on conversions for front brakes using Brembo's.

I would like to mount up some 951 (944 Turbo) front calipers on my 914-6 project car. They have mounting "ears" like the early calipers, so I think it would be a fairly easy job. All the late model (?1990 -->) P-cars use the Brembo brakes that don't have mounting ears.

I have seen adapter kits for the later style that use an aluminum block. I'd like to go for the earlier ear type directly bolted up for a cleaner look.

Anyone seen it, done it, pics of it?

I need details like, which struts and what rotors were used.

I'm not 100% positive that the 914 strut has the right spacing the accept the caliper directly. But I've heard a rumor that the earlier 911 struts do and they can be fitted to a 914.

Thanks!
