Ferg You are correct, it was in Excellence Magazine a couple months back: Henry Covington's "El Tiburon", based on a 356. Thanks, that's what I thought, I'm not crazy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |

I'm thinking another kit?, not enough grill for old cooling systems, along with no hood straps or latches for old style latches. tires/rims look wide for the period the car is modeled after. Ferg |

The green one is a custom The Lincoln Zephyr grille is a like the one in this street rod and the head lights are like 1950 lincoln.

It has something written on the front fender but it is way too small to see.
I thought the cars had to be production cars in your game Wolfgang? |

The green one is a custom The Lincoln Zephyr grille is a like the one in this street rod and the head lights are like 1950 lincoln. I think you're correct on the headlights but the grille is from a LaSalle. The front bumper looks like it was a rear bumper from a Lincoln, maybe. This looks to be a very well done custom, probably from a prominent builder. I'd like to see it from the rear and more detail on the interior. |

I thought the cars had to be production cars in your game Wolfgang? correct - but as long as we don't know the solution we also don't know if it is (or not) it might be a very little production run we already had "production cars" with only 3-5 built items I'm really currious about this one - I still think that I've seen it once (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) Gustl |

I think you guys are wrong about the first car... I am pretty sure it is a Buick Platypus R300 made to commemorate the 1957 Australian Summer Olympics... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |

Oh ya, LeSalle grille. The car may be a proto type. I found this toy car photo that kind of looks close. The link stated it was a proto type model 1940 LaSalle Roadster.
