I broke this down into sub groups so we can track each item to conclusion. Only post in the information about event space in the thread.

This topic needs to be addressed. We have a tentative lock on this but we need to just confirm were set.

We need to agree on how much space we need.
Then flip out the card and buy it.

The event space is in the swap area.
Its 40-50 per space...I figured 4 would do for tents and chairs and hanging out...simple meeting point with some parts to swap...

Concours spaces are $10.00 per space..no reservations needed, and they try to keep all the cars together...

Oh I get it!

We need $ 200.00 for swap meet space to hang out as a group.

And attendees will be required to enter the Concours at $10.00 a head so we can Invade the same area.

Gotcha (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

Previous years looked like this.
Three blocks in the parking lot divided by access roads.
Block on left was the car show.
Block in the middle, the largest block, was the swap meet.
Block on right was the cars for sale area.

There is no free parking inside the event...show or sale both charge...both go to charity.
Swap meet is per space and the spaces are narrow single car parking spaces.
Getting four at least will allow us to have a few chairs.
We may honestly want more...and here is what I was thinking.

We are all CSOB's
If we got a big block of space...we could all bring our stuff for sale and share that spot.
Or, we could just have chairs and hang out...that might be simpler.

get busy.
We have an offer of a few pop up tent from a local 914 guy...
I think a few of the popups will make a better base camp and allow more people to hang around in the area..you know how small the spots can be.

..ok...we got the 4 or 5 spaces in the swap area.

will the Hershey organizers be making an effort keeping all 914s together in the $10 spaces? I lost track on how that's going to work.

most 914ers I'm talking with expect to be parking in a "corral" of teeners.
do the event organizers want payment in advance of show spaces in order to keep them together.....?

Not historically. It is park where you want, but if some of us get there early enough we can cordon off some sets of spaces. Just give us a number.
