My eBay saved search for 911 Bosch distributors yielded this hit today:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=270333808506 Googling for DIS6 led me here: http://www.compu-tronix.com/ A little Googling for the company name yielded a hit on the Samba classifieds for a 4-cylinder version: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=643993 Hmmm... $74.99 for four cylinder version, $549.99 for the 6-cylinder version. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) Is it just another solid state ignition system? Scam? Real deal? |
