What goes where the speakers are in a car with no stereo? Are there plasic trim pieces without speaker grill slats? Thanks, Bill

I once owned a 1970 914-6 that didn't have a radio option.
It had the standard speaker covers, just no speakers inside. It also had the blank radio plate with vinyl |

My 72 four came with no radio. I installed on from Crutchfield later in 72.
However, the speaker grills wre installed by the Factory. They were empty & a black vinyl plasctic piece was installed behind the grills., assumingly to block the emptiness. Pat |

Pat Ditto I have seen the same thing...LOTZAH cars came over no tunes and the dealers would upsell to customers desires.... Or Put a CRAPPY Motorola in to fill the void ...As USA citizens.. Just had to have the NOISE!! |
