Saw a set of scheel seats in classifieds ....Colth and vinyl. Just dropped a set of similar seats at upolstery shop today but all cloth ...guessing Koenigs. Should I go vinyl and cloth like scheel or does it matter . What are nice Koenigs worth.
Thanks

I have an early Scheel seat, and the vinyl/cloth combo is nice. Whatever floats your boat would be my suggestion. I don't think it makes any difference, they both seem to be well made.

I haven't seen many for sale recently, perhaps some other list members can help on the price question.

The bolsters will last longer if they're vinyl. Your ass dragging on them every time you wiggle in & out wears on them.

The Scheels and the Konigs are the same seat, different name. (As you've noted, though, the upholstery isn't necessarily identical.)
