I am looking to buy an OK temporary engine for my 1970 914. I have a 2.0 that needs rebuilt, but I want to have fun in the car this coming summer. Let me know if anybody has something that will work. I am in Columbus, Ohio but willing to drive within about 200 miles or so.

I have a fairly strong little 1.7 and am hoping to swap to a 2.0 shortly- I bought it from Nate at 914 parts.com in sac- He told me it was in a car that was wrecked and has about 80,000 on it- supposedly a pca club members wifes car- I paid 675 delivered- wanna defray the cost of my 2.0 liter- pm me if ur interested timing would be the key- engine runs great it doesnt really leak at all- my tranny does though...
