I have a good set of early non retractable belts to backdate my 76. I like the idea of not messing with the belt once it is set.

I was sorting through the hardware I have to install them and something doesn't seem right. The holes in the mounting brackets are a larger diameter than the ones on my retractable belts. I have the plastic washers and all of the normal stuff. It seems like something is missing. Is there some sort of special washer or something that fits on the mounting bolt that takes up the free space in the brackets?

I used the search and couldn't find quite what I needed.

I can get some pics tomorrow.
