So I took the four mounts off my 914 and was going to put braces from there to the outter ear. My father in law knows chasis flex and all very well from the aeronautical field. He did composit work on the Stealth Figher and other stuff he won't/ can't talk about. He looked at the area and said I need to rethink this area and see what other race cars have done. I do not have a cage but am making my car stiffer with time and am sure it will go to a cage someday. However, the need right now is what have you done uder the car near ears and what material did you use? Pictures would be a big help here as well as I am going to atempt to do this myself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) . Thanks in advance.

Twist your tub and see where it needs to be reinforced.
