Confussed here.. does the oil temp sender that screws into the taco plate require an o-ring or crush gasket between it and the plate? My old one is leaking, either broken sender or taco plate. I'll be replacing both. Want to do it right the second time lol.

I think its a copper washer.
there is an o-ring on the taco plate itself.
The two little screws also have crush washers that need to be replaced or they leak.
