Hey everyone-
We normally do 356s and early 911s but we have decided to go racing and picked up
a very cool 914. I thought I would share it with the group.

Please no bad comments, I know it is a monster!

You can read the whole story on my blog.

I'm glad you bought that car! I was hoping somebody would try to make it work.

As for the bad comments, there's a thread in the garage picking that car apart already ...

The shifter is going to be the weird part. If I don't move it I will
probably look like I am playing with myself lap after lap!

What about a cable shifter setup? That way, you could move it to the side easily ...

Yup, we are booth C 6-7 at Hershey this year, FREE gift bags for anyone
who stops by.

Also, since everyone will probably ask, I am running this car in the
24 Hours of Lemons race.

Andy mentioned a cable shifter...Great idea. Pedals could be handled just as easily with a hydralic pedal assembly. I have seen a few teeners here that have converted to a slave cylinder for clutch actuation. Looks like fun.

Glad someone bought it and is fixing it up.

Like I stated in the other thread; a cable shifter, a 3.6 and some cleaned up body work could make this a REALLY cool car.
