Any one read the Chronicl article on Berekley proposal to make a city car tax on anyone with more than one or two cars (they stated it would only effect the rich!)
they want to rid the streets of "dead" cars.

They have a law already, it is state wide about 72 hours on the street the car gets towed, they also cited rat infested cars, but there are already laws for health violations.

Berekely simply want to tax cars, and an easy target is people with multible cars (ie hobby cars, collector cars)

if it passes in Berekely, it may start a bad trend in California.

So everyone beware, even if you do not live in Berekely.

Your town maybe next. And there excuses for passing the law just do not hold water, its a tax thing, pure and simple.
