Sorry, Kapt.
I'm not even remotely close to Reno.
I just didn't want you to feel ignored (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Joe,
What do you consider close to Reno? I am 100 miles away. I can be coaxed into taking a trip up the hill if it gets me near Incline Village... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) My spiritual home... Ahhhhh....

Actually, it's to Doyle, which is about 40 mins north/west of Reno on the CA side.

I have a non-narp there that I need looking at.

Awwwww, come on Joe, tell 'em the truth ..........

You will have to buy one those English Sporty Beanies, grow a beard and smoke a pipe to help with that vehicle.

or

You could just grow huevos and sneak the vehicle out of town in the middle of the night.

BRITISH CAR!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

I owned an MGB for 2 years and I drove it a total of 20 miles during that time. They just freakin' do not run! You're on your own there Joe. Sorry... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

No prince of darkness for me!

It's a Volvo 122 Wagon. Rough but running.

I am taking a leap of faith that this guy is honest. I am sending a check and he's sending the title. Then I am sending a truck to load it up and deliver down here.

I was hoping someone could take a look and stuff, but I'm going to cross my fingers.

NO!! At most, and this is unlikely since I hate messing with fuel injection, it'd get a turbo or a twin cam. Most likely, it will stay a B18 or maybe get a mild B20.

I want to keep it as simple as possible.

Like I told ya ... I'd drive the shit out of it ... ya can't break 'em.

Besides, looking like that you could park it in any gas station, wear hole filled clothes and beg for gas money. "I lost my job in Wyoming as a sheep tender and I'm on my way to Hollywierd to be a Porn Star. Just need a little help to get there."
