I'm the Regional Exec for the Indiana NorthWest Region SCCA. Back in the day our region would host SCCA National road races. We started them again back in the late 80's and had to stop in 2008 because of low car counts and high $$ costs.
Anyway cleanig up our storage area I came across some old INR racing patches. Look at what we used in 1971 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Pretty cool I think. This one will go in a small frame in my home office next to all my other 914 and SCCA memorabilia. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Attached image(s) |

Hey now, I'm only 43. I do remember as a kid watching the SCCA running solo events down Central Ave in town. It was the Grand Prix Jamboree, typical small town festival thing, but watching the cars race down the street was cool. |
