It's not really down... some kinda funky DNS problems. I noticed this earlier today. If you use the IP you should be able to get to it.

I haven't been able to resolve 914world.com from various servers today. Had to use the IP. Networking crap is not my strong suit...

I justchanged the WCC 2004 Info button links to http://www.914world.com/westcoastclassic
So at least those work. You might want to change your sig Jeff. I know Brad (and possibly others) can't view images on the board that are hosted on 914club and aren't pre-fixed with www. |

Nother question, got an opinion?
I would like to start a thread on the main BBS indicating who will be attending the WCC, in hopes of pushing anyone who is on the fence about attending, to sign up. I also want to not broadcast who will be here and where they are from, to protect their privacy. I dont want a clever thief to break into their house while they are gone for instance. So how can I do this? List them by 914club name only? That info is already online. It would look like: Boxtr Bowlsby 914 GT List just their name? The problem is that not everyone on the BBS knows people by their real name. It would look like: Brad Roberts Craig Laughlin Steve Hurt The registrations are already flowing in... Being from out state and not attending any 914 breakfasts or stuff like that. I only know people by their sign on.

When I do the hat orders I use a spreadsheet that shows both everyone's real name and their 914club username. It works well for me that way.

I think you make a good point Jeff. For 914club board purposes, you should only list their member name and not the full name. I don't want to see any one suffer hardship as a result of their full name being posted on a public forum as being out of town for a period of time.

Because some folks use their name in their username you could consider:
Sean L. Jeff B. Mike G. or S. Lee J. Bowlsby M. Ginter the first option would probably be hardest to trace back to a person/address. |

I'm completing the maps this weekend. If I post them here can someone resize them and move them to the web site?

Which maps? I am preparing maps for the event which will be distributed in the registration confirmation packets to be sent out early next week and for the event brochure.

The map of the breakfast location is good, but the map of the hotel lacks a little detail. Its not wrong, I just don't think it will help out of town folk to get to the hotel becasuye it doesn't show the main highways nearby. I would just post the breakfast location map on the website.
