My WW's run like they are on "intermittant" when the switch is in the off position. Low speed works; High speed works; intermittant works as well. However when in the off position the wipers continue to run as if in the itermittant position. If I pull the fuse it will stop. Any thoughts???????????

Bad intermittent relay or check the grounding of switch in column. Make sure all the 4 screws are tight. Grounds though screws.

That's what I'm unclear about. How do I test for a good ground? Is the gr/wh wire the one. Do I check for continuity between ground and the gr/wh wire? If so which position should the wiper switch be in when testing. Yes, it is a late model-1976 and the switch looked very clean when I pulled it out. Any help is appreciated.
