Hi All!

I'm starting to gather up the parts for a future 5-lug conversion and need the tribe's help figuring out what goes with what. I've searched the 914world garage but couldn't find a specific yes/no answer about whciih front hubs I can use . . . .

I'm trying to find out if the 74-77 front hub (PN 911.341.065.06) will work on a 914-6/early 911T front strut.

I've looked at the parts lists for both cars, and while the PNs for the hubs are different, most of the associated PNs (for spacer rings, inner/outer bearings, sealing rings, are the same). Makes me think the newer hubs should work, but thought I'd better check with the folks here to be on the safe side.

Also, even if the newer hubs will work, how are they different from the older ones? Material (alum vs. steel)? Offset? Inquiring minds want to know . . . .

Thanks in advance!
