can either use a NACA duct in the side of the sail panel, or I have seen more than a couple cars with scoops built on the side of the sails, sticking out but follow the shape of the sail panel pretty well so they don't look out of place, that capture air. Then there is a hole thru the sail panel and ducting on the inside down to the air intake area.
