This is my way of makeing things a little better in the life of some Mentaly

Challanged Adults. I collect parts for 914 consoles , when I have enought for

a complete console I sell it and all monies drived goes to this Charity.

This money is used to cover expences that S.S or S.S.I doesnt cover.

So I ask the members of this commiunty to look through there parts stash,

and if you have any console parts, that you may not use could you sent them to

me. Any Console

parts,no matter how bad they look ,over the yrs. I have become very proficent

at restoreing them. Thanks Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

Hi Dave,

"Good on Ya!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I have a sister in the same situation & depends on SSI, family, etc.

Hey - I don't have any parts right now, but might be in the market for your finished product center console/gauges a bit later in my resto/repair process for my 73 2L, which has been stored in my garage since 5/85. It was mysteriously "missing" the console/gauges when I bought it used in 12/75 (probably stripped off by the dealer to sell to another customer, along with the fog lights/switch & 5 Fuchs 2.0 Alloys - it had 4 Rivieras & a steelie spare instead). I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a parts 914 with one in it, but if not, then plan B was to get one as a part out or a restored one like I'd seen at AA.

So I want to get her back to stock now, but would want one with stock gauges (quartz clock probably okay) & exact or close vinyl leatherette as stock OE.

Please keep me in mind when you have any ready & e-mail/pm me with pix & price!
