We are thinking of driving to the race with the 914 and do a meet up with some other teeners and have a fun weekend.

I received an email from the event director at the track, and he said there will be special parking for Porsches. It should be posted on the site within the next couple of weeks.

Now, we need to make a massive teener turnout! Anyone up for a weekend of Porsche racing, and going to the Barber Museum????

I know a couple of us from B'ham that will show up and maybe some of the Atlanta, Huntsville, Montgomery and Memphis groups will show up as well. There seems to be a large group of 911s here but it would be great to see a good 914 turnout.

I hope to make it up for the race in July myself.

This weekend is the Barber Sportscar Classic in Birmingham. See the link below.

I'm planning on driving my orange 914 to Birmingham this Saturday morning to check it out if it stops raining around here.

Rob and I are planning on driving up on Friday July 17. It is only a 4 hour drive, so we can leave early (it is nice since Birmingham is an hour behind us). We are going to spend Friday and Saturday night, then drive home late Sunday.
