Seen at the international meeting in Germany.
FG bumpers with chrome finish. I think its chrome paint + black structured paint. It's in one part. Pad and chrome are molded in one part. Not as shiny as real chrome. Looks like dusty or not super clean chrome. But you must be aware in order to notice it's fake. Attached image(s) |

I think it's something like that. There are many manufacturers like this other one ( Alsacorp )

My only concern would be how flexible the paint is. I picked up a FG 911 bumper at Carlisle and it bends and twists, and it has to be bolted to the car to resemble an actual bumper. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I wonder if this would be an opportunity for the old Colin Chapman Lotus trick...
Back in the days, they painted the mold first, and then applied the glass so that the paint was really secured to the car.... |

I'm wondering how the bumper "top" was finished. Doesn't look like bed liner unless he found a means to make the smaller texture with it. It looks pretty good.

Eastwood sells the textured black finish too. Got my new catalog last week and it was in there next to the "almost chrome."
