Here are some shots from last Saturday…Our local PCA Region held their annual Concours – it’s been awhile since I participated- about 4-5 years so, I cleaned the car, bought/ installed a new battery and spent some quality time with the wine and cheese crowd. We had a great time hanging out- I brought some extra q-tips and the judges always find some obscure place for dirt and lint.
“You have a .01 point deduction for lint in your door pocket” It was celebration of the Mid Engine Porsches however not many 914’s. Plenty of boxters though. I won a first place trophy in the Street class for 914’s however I was the only car that entered. Total score was a total one point deduction in the various areas of engine interior, storage spaces etc-on a par with the career concour-ists and not bad since I spent only a few hours on the car for prep and the car was completed 21 years ago!
