How much fuel pressure do you think a stock 914 fuel pump can hold up? The subaru motor runs at 30 - 38 psi, and I am wondering if I can do that with the stock pump.
Also - I remember someone (Brad?) mentioning an aftermarket pump that can be used??? If the stock pump is up to it, does anyone local have an extra one that I can use for testing??? l8r, Fiid. |

Fiid, I checked the pressure on my 75 2.0L, while trying to sort out a problem, and found the pressure to be 39 lbs. I've heard the pump can put out over 60 lbs, but have never checked it. You'll want a pump from a 75 or 76, as they don't have the reutrn port. Just in and out.
