What do you think? Seems like a whole lot of aftermarket FI systems people really want info about. Poll maybe? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

if we started new forums for every time we all get on a kick we'd have a shitload of forums... ignition forums, FI forums, carb forums, 915 tranny forums, /6 conversion forums, chebbie conversions,
everything would be very organized, I'll give you that ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

If you split the forum into a bunch of small 'rooms', if I'm any ol' member and I have carbs, I don't go read the FI forum, because I have carbs.
But in the format we have now, some of those carb people might 'stumble' into the FI thread, learn something new, and think "Hey, I'll try that too!" Also, having the same conversation over and over rehashes ideas, makes people rethink their opinions, share new experiences and new knowledge. Multiple forums are too segregated and completely obliterate the community feel we have. Not to mention all of the bitching that starts with people posting, "This thread belongs in the _______ forum! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)" I'm certainly not dealing with that BS. |

Jake Raby has a very good forum on EFI on his site that is moderated by a guy who really seems to know his stuff. Try that?

Agree, except I think we need a forum for which brake bleeder valves are best. Oh, and I'd like to see one for best ways to keep spiders for inhabiting your 914's.
Yeah, can we? Pat |
