I bought this pair of used Scheel seats that were in a 356. They came with early 911 seat tracks. The first thing I noticed was the mounting holes are about 10mm difference in the holes. 911 tracks are shorter and the 914 were longer. The 911 handle extend beyond the bottom and the 914 would not using the rear mounting holes. My solution was to move the 914 bracket up one hole and drill and tap two new mounting holes. The 2 track hole on the top was elongated so I could use the existing hole. This way If I ever sold the seats they would bolt into a 911
