OK - Just purchased a used back-up light from a fellow board member for the 901 tranny. I first tested the switch to make sure it works (tested the continuity when the inner button is engaged). I then tested the back up lights by touching the wires. But when I installed the switch the lights do not come on? I had a prior switch that worked - but now that I think of it it may have been on another tranny? Is there a chance that the mechanism inside the tranny that engages the switch is broken? Does the engaging mechanism inside the tranny need alignment? Thanks ahead of time for your help! |

Transmission switch is probably good . The pin is probably worn out making it to short to make contact.
