you asked for it, we fix it!

it just has to piss me off long enough and then things get actually done around here ...

now every post/reply is rendered in it's own table, therefore LARGE
pictures and such won't make you scroll your screen horizontally for hours anymore.
only the post that includes the large picture will need to be scrolled, all other posts in a thread automatically size themselves to your current browser window.

see this thread for an example:

Great! Thank you.

Now if we can just automatically resize the oversized pictures we'd be all set.

yeah, but what do you consider "oversized"?

on my 1600 x 1400 screen, 1280 x 1024 size pictures fit one page just fine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Hey yer the web weenie, do the same thing you did with the posts, same width as the current browser. Sounds simple enough (which means it's probably very difficult, I know).

resizing images on the fly, eh? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

honestly, i don't think that's a good idea.
i'd rather educate people on how to resize their images.

i want to be able to post BIG images if needed ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

For on the fly image resizing I think we'd need a full server farm. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Nice fix Andy! Thanks.

Andy,

Way to go! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

The text overrun was always a pain. Thank you.
