The September 2009 issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car has 6 pages of 914 re-design by various industrial designers. Though the photos and text reveal nothing really new to the "hardcore", history loving, long term 914 faithful who were around when these designs were first shown on the pages of (usually) Road & Track, it is still worthwhile reading and gratifying that our 914s still can get "ink" in respected auto mags.

The Frua bodied version was my favorite. But I'd not heard about (or long forgotten) the legal battle.

Yeah, just read it today.

Most are ugly, but a few are simply gorgeous!

Nothing new here (for us old farts), but helps the continuum.
