Good old days when you could drive a open car on track without a roll cage, didnt need gloves or a driving suit, helmets were open faced, stopwatches were mechanical and you had to have a buddy time you, spins off course didnt require manadatory black flag back to paddock.

I thought it interesting that some of the shot angles, shown in this early work, were used again in the Star Wars Pod Race sequence. |
