Bob and his wife showed up in their Honda S2000 as their kid blew up their teener. Scott showed up in his teener and we were off to make sure Mines road survived the rainy winter. Hills were a vivid green and weather was mid 70's. Tops were off.

Scotts car and mine at the crossroads 35 miles into the run with 38 left to go. This is the only commercial establishment on the road.

The other guy from modesto. His kid blew up the teener, did he say he had an orange teener? Why wasnt I invited!! lol How far away is Mines road from modesto? I know scott puts alot of miles on his car.. so it doesnt bother him.. But I havent taken my car out of modesto yet.. We'll probably bring the 944.. but maybe.. just maybe.. Andrew |

Looks like fun Patrick. I cant wait to take a day off and relax. It appears we will have at least 5 six cylinder powered 914's attending your event from my stable. I'm sure CarlC and KimK will show up with their factory sixes.

Oh.. change your camera settings to shoot 640x480.. and turn off the shutter noise. It helps kill the battery (things I noticed at the last breakfast.)

Andrew,
It is less than one hours drive from MOdesto to the beginning of Mines Road. The invite was posted! Keep March 27th open on your calendar. Brad, mmmmm, factory sixes. You will have to show me what you mean about my camera. What do you drive? Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(Andyrew @ Mar 7 2004, 09:05 PM) The other guy from modesto. His kid blew up the teener, did he say he had an orange teener? Andrew that 'kid' is now in Iraq. his father Bob told Patrick & I a story about his son before we began the drive. something about "he'd recently had some fun.... that he & his troops were notified in time that some guys were sneaking up behind them with AK-47's, and they were able to turn and shoot the guys before they were shot". Be careful young man. Bob, tell your son that the 914club people are thinking of him, and to stay SAFE!
