Hi Guys,

Went to replace the parking brake cables on my 1975 and found that the old ones (seized) were routed up over the top of the heat exchangers. This didn't seem right to me for a couple reasons: this causes a somewhat sharp bend from where it exits the top of the heat exchanger to where goes through it's mount and is clipped on and it has to touch the exchanger so I would assume it could get pretty hot (not too good for a cable). Neither my factory nor aftermarket manuals have the cable routing in them. Can anybody tell me what is correct here?

John
